MIAMISBURG -- Hundreds of people spent Sunday satisfying their sweet tooth and giving back to some very deserving children.
The very first "Sweet Treats Festival," took place at the Commander Aero in Miamisburg.
The festival featured about thirty different vendors who proudly displayed and shared their sweet concoctions including cookies, cakes, baklava, brownies, fudge and home made candies.
The event was an extra sweet success because it gave permission to indulge a little and give back at the same time.
"It's benefiting 'A Kid Again,' a local charity that helps folks with terminally ill children ... make sure they can be a kid again and have some fun activities," said Lisa Grigsby, a promoter of the event.
The "Sweet Treats Festival" raised a couple thousand dollars for the charity. To learn more about 'A Kid Again,' log onto www.akidagain.org.
