DAYTON--No injuries were reported in a fire that happened at Tech Metals Sunday.
Firefighters and a hazmat crew responded to the metal planting company about 12:30 p.m.
The plant uses a variety of chemicals, including cyanide, but investigators told ABC 22/Fox45 that none of the chemicals were compromised in the fire.
Investigators believe the fire started inside a trash can, which crews were able to contain quickly.
Fire officials closed Findlay and Springfield Streets while they inspected the building.
