MIAMI COUNTY -- Miami County Animal Shelter workers were very busy Friday evening as they seized nearly 100 dogs from a home in Tipp City.
Animal Shelter officials tell us these dogs were part of a rescue organization that was being run by one woman. The sheer number of animals grew to more than she could handle, and then her health started failing.
All of the animals are spayed or neutered and most appear to be in good health, just dirty. The animals will all be checked out by veterinarians and kept by the shelter.
But shelter employees say they could use your help. They need bedding for the animals, which needs to be straw or shavings. They also need heated or insulated water bowls and volunteers to clean-up and walk the dogs.
If you can help, call 937-332-6919.
