RIVERSIDE -- Police use a K-9 unit to try to find a suspected robber. Officers were called to the Napa Auto parts store on Linden Avenue early Friday evening.
Employees say a man walked into the store, flashed a gun and demanded cash and the keys to the employee's car. He tried to steal that vehicle to make his getaway, but it wouldn't start. The man then took off on foot, running across U.S. 35.
A K-9 unite tracked the robber's scent for a while, but lost it on the bike path near Smithville. If you know anything about this incident, call police.
