TROTWOOD -- The Montgomery County Coroner's Office on Thursday released findings from its report on the death of Police Officer Dave Yaney.

Yaney was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Englewood.

The Coroner ruled the cause of death as "blunt force trauma to the head and neck, with freshwater drowning."

The Coroner's report also say that "some heart disease" was found during the autopsy but could not determine -- and might never be able to determine -- if that condition contributed to the crash.

The Coroner's office could not determine whether Yaney was conscious or not during the crash.
