SPRINGFIELD -- The Clark County Sheriffâs Office on Friday will promote Deputy Robert L. Trimble to the rank of Sheriffâs Sergeant at a ceremony at the Clark County Sheriffâs Office Raynor Room, 120 N. Fountain Ave,. Springfield.
Trimble began his career as a Special Deputy with the Clark County Sheriffâs Office in November 2001. He was hired full-time as a Deputy Sheriff on June 1, 2006.
He is a graduate of Springfield Clark County Joint Vocational School, the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, and has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Clark State Community College. Prior to serving with the Sheriffâs Office, Trimble served with distinction with the U.S. Army from 1989 to 1995. He has served in the Jail Division and the Uniform Patrol Division; he is also a member of the Sheriffâs Honor Guard. During his tenure with the Sheriffâs Office Trimble has earned multiple awards and commendations for his dedication and excellence in service with the Clark County Sheriffâs Office.
