DAYTON -- Friends and family of the pregnant mother who was shot and killed June 19 in the Desoto Bass neighborhood gathered today to say their final farewells.
The funeral for Da'Lyne Foster, 27, who was 9 months pregnant when she died, began at 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Potter's House Church in Dayton.
Police arrested a man in connection with Foster's shooting, but they are waiting on ballistic tests to confirm if he is the shooter.
Doctors delivered her baby through an emergency cesarean. The baby boy is still recovering in the hospital.
