XENIA -- It was a special reunion after a smart 5-year-old little boy springs into action to save his great-grandmother.
Five-year-old George and his 95-year-old great-grandmother Margaret McCreery met the paramedics and the ADT dispatcher who helped save Margaret's life.
Last month, Margaret fell and severely cut her head at home, unable to reach the emergency pendant around her neck. She told her grandson to push the button that alerted ADT Medical Dispatcher Deborah Kirkland out of Knoxville, Tennessee who then sent Xenia paramedics to Margaret's home.
Margaret recalls, "when I fell, he says 'Oh Gaga, where's your button? Give me your button.' I said 'I can't George.'"
Margaret received 30 stitches to her head but is okay.
George, Deborah and the paramedics all received awards for their efforts, and ADT gave the Xenia Fire Department $5,000 as well.
