NEW YORK (AP) -- For a second day in a row, the stock market takes a nose dive.

Stocks dropped across the board, with Dow Jones at just over 350 points today and more than 560 over the last 48 hours, depleting gains from May and June.  Standard & Poor's 500 fell 40 points.  Nasdaq dropped 78 points.

This comes as the Federal Reserve threatened to end its massive bond-buying program which has been increasing the money supply.

Investors also worry about manufacturing slowing down in both the U.S. and China.
