DAYTON -- The driver of an semi-tractor trailer makes one big mistake, and then another Wednesday night in Dayton.
First, the truck hit a pole on Stewart Street near Anderson around 9:30pm, knocking down wires. Those wires fell on a tree, which then caught on fire. Here's where the driver made his second mistake, he kept going.
Officers found the truck just down the street in an alley. There are about seven homes now without power.
The driver told police that he was delivering to the Dollar General store and is not familiar with the area actually didn't even know he hit the pole.
He will still be cited.
