SPRINGFIELD -- A Columbus man is accused of forcing his way into a woman's home, assaulting her and pouring syrup and flour on her during an all-night ordeal.
Titus Moore, 25, has been charged with aggravated burglary and abduction after a woman, who has a 2-month-old son with Moore, says he forced his way in on May 23, and tortured her for 12 hours by pulling her hair, pouring things on her, slapping, scratching and pinching her.
Police said the woman's couch had been overturned and her TV was on the floor.
She told police Moore stole keys to her house and car so he has access to her home. She said he did all this in front of her two children, ages 4 years and 2 month.
The woman was eventually able to force her way out of the apartment by climbing through her 4-year-old daughter's bedroom window and running for help.
