DAYTON -- Raylin Darlene Marzita Holloway, 17, pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of murder, felonious assault and aggravated robbery.
According to Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr., Holloway and a co-defendant approached 26-year-old Willie B. Totty III in the late evening of May 31, 2011, and demanded his possessions, including his bicycle. When Totty did not comply, the co-defendant fired a gun at Totty, killing him, Heck said.
Shortly thereafter, Holloway and another suspect approached two women walking home from a store on Salem Avenue in Dayton. Heck said they demanded the victimsâ money. When those victims did not comply, the assailants fired a gun at the victims, took their money, and fled.
Heck said a motion has been approved to transfer Holloway to the adult system, due to the serious nature of these offenses.
Holloway pleaded guilty to two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault and three counts of aggravated robbery.
Heck said the counts include mandatory three-year firearm specifications.
Holloway is set to be sentenced after the trial of her co-defendant, which is scheduled for the week of May 13.
