DAYTON -- A woman was shaken up Wednesday morning when the car she was driving traveled through a yard and slammed into a retaining wall at 423 Whitmore Avenue.
Initial reports indicated there was a child in the car but it's likely the woman had just dropped a child off at day care before the crash.
A Mark Smith, who lives near the accident, said a neighbor awakened him after the crash. He said this is the third time in about six months that someone has crashed into a house nearby. He said people speed up and down Whitmore all the time.
The woman was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
