DAYTON -- The University of Dayton Flyers have kept the winning streak going, even when they're on the road!
UD has now won six straight. That includes this past weekend at St. Bonaventure in Upstate New York and at Fordham in the Bronx.
They are now 3-0 in the A-10 and off to their best start since the 2003 season.
What's even more impressive is that they're doing it with seven players and only six scholarship athletes on the active roster.
"Winning on the road is something that's very hard to do and to be able to take the travel trip that we took and basically play 2 games in 3 days on the road... That was pretty impressive for our guys. I was really proud of them," said Coach Archie Miller.
Miller went on to say, "We've been doing a great job handling adversity... through all the ups and downs, just finding ways to win and make sure we're staying true to our motto to be a true team and stick together no matter what."
Jordan Siebert was honored as the Atlantic 10's co-player of the week. It is the first time a Flyer won the award since 2012.
Next up, the LaSalle Explorers here at the UD Arena on Wednesday, Jan.14, 2015.
