CLARK COUNTY -- A truck from Top Notch Tree Care was struck by a train when it apparently tried to cross the tracks at the same time the train was coming Monday (Jan.12, 2015) evening.
Officials told us that the male driver of that truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center to be treated.
The train was able to stop and was inspected after the accident. South Tecumseh and Wynn Roads were closed during that time due to the investigation by Ohio State Patrol.
It is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash or whether there was some sort of mechanical issues with the train.
