DAYTON--Santa provided winter gear for people in need today. "Elves" with the Montgomery County sheriff's department and the Ohio Police Athletic League delivered hundreds of hats, gloves, and scarves at St. Vincent DePaul.
The donation was made possible by contributions from a lot of giving people.
"Donations from different departments, donations from people throughout the community, and purchases that were made just for this specific reason."
The police athletic club volunteers came here from all over Ohio to help share the warmth.
