RICHMOND, Indiana- A Richmond doctor is under investigation, accused of secretly videotaping his female employees in an office restroom.
Dr. Brian Altman's Foot and Ankle Clinic on Chester Boulevard was closed on Thursday.
The doctor is under investigation, accused of videotaping the three ladies who work in his office.
According to court documents, one of the ladies was using the employees only restroom, and noticed a red light glowing on a shelf under some supplies, directly across from the toilet.
"I think that's sick, because you think as a doctor as someone you trust
and especially if he was your employer." Richmond resident Jade Guthrie said.
Documents said the female employee realized the red light was a hidden camera and immediately turned it off.
According to the affidavit, she and another employee then found an icon on Dr. Altman's computer, linked to the hidden camera.
"If he's doing that, you don't know what else he's doing." Guthrie said.
A search warrant was executed Tuesday, and Dr. Altman's computers, hard drives and other disks were seized.
"I think he is going to lose a lot of trust in the town and it makes you think about who you go and see as a doctor." Guthrie said.
"If it happened to me, I would want that man put behind bars." Richmond resident Teresa Caldron added.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said the case is still under investigation.
No arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed in the case.
