KETTERING--An alleged purse snatcher went on a shopping spree, now police need your help to nail him.
The purse snatching happened at Kettering Memorial Hospital, police said. From there the alleged thief went to the Meijer on Wilmington Pike and charged up quite a tab, including charges for an iPad.
"As he was leaving, surveillance was able to pick up his picture," said Rob Roberts, Public Information Officer for Kettering Police. "Someone will recognize him. He's got a distinct tattoo on the left side of his neck," Roberts said.
The suspect is described as between 5'5" and 5'7 and weighing about 150lbs. If you have any information, call Kettering Police at (937) 296-2555.
