FAIRBORN -- A Fairborn middle school math teacher accused of duct taping the hands of one of his students hands in his resignation today.
Scott Dammeyer submitted the paperwork to the school board this morning and they accepted it. Dammeyer, who taught math at Baker Middle School, had been on paid administrative leave since December. He was accused of duct taping a student's wrists together.
We looked into Dammeyer's personnel file after the incident, and found a 2007 incident that led him to undergo anger management training.
The Greene County Proscecutor's Office declined to file any charges in the duct taping incident.
