DAYTON -- The University of Dayton has suspended a 60-member fraternity for two years after a November incident in Madison County.

On November 17, 2012, the Sigma Chi fraternity was reportedly en route back to University of Dayton campus when the group stopped at a mini-mart in London, Ohio.

The members then "mobbed" the store damaging property, urinating inside the store and exposing themselves outside to passersby.

No one was arrested out of the incident, and the Madison County Prosecutor never filed charges against any of the students, but the University has been working on their own investigation for the past few months.

Under the two-year suspension the fraternity can not have a frat house or hold meetings.

In addition to the suspension the fraternity has been fined $200 for damages and must perform community service in Madison County.

The University also put in a stipulation once the fraternity files for reinstatement, they must provide a plan of action on how the group will remain in good standing, as well as make a group commitment to remain alcohol-free for the first year of reinstatement.

The fraternity has the right to appeal the University's decision. Sigma Chi had no comment about the decision, or any plans for an appeal.
