UPDATE: Edward Fowle, 80 was found safe around 10pm. Police located him at a rest stop off of I-71 near Kings Island. He is ok and his family is on the way to pick him up and take him home.

STATEWIDE -- There is a statewide alert for a missing 80 year old Beavercreek man.
Police say Edward Fowle, 80, was last seen around 11am Friday, when he told his family he was going to the Beavercreek Kroger to pick up a couple things. Fowle never returned home from that trip.
Fowle, who suffers from dementia, is driving a maroon or brown 1996 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van.
If you see him or his mini-van, you're asked to call 911.
