SPRINGFIELD -- The Clark County OVI Task Force will be operating an OVI checkpoint within Clark County on January 18 to intercept impaired drivers as part of our ongoing enforcement efforts.
The checkpoint will begin at 8 p.m. The location will be announced by 5 p.m. on Friday the day of the checkpoint.
As a reminder OVI checkpoints are designed to not only deter impaired driving, but to proactively remove dangerous drivers from the road.
The task force reminds you: If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
