DAYTON â Police have arrested a suspect in the June 1st murder of a Dayton man.
Demond Harris, 31, was arrested after a small army of law enforcement officers raided a Twin Towers home within the 800 block of Steele Avenue.
Harris is suspected of murdering Keith Van Moore back in June of last year on Xenia Avenue.
Local residents say they are happy the suspected criminal is off their local street.
"I'm glad, neighborhoodâs safer. A person goes out and kills somebody; they need to be put in a jail for life in my opinion" said Kurt Reygert, Dayton resident.
Demond Harris is in the Montgomery County Jail facing charges of murder and felonious assault.
