CENTERVILLE -- The Centerville School District takes the first step to put a new tax levy before voters
The school board passed a resolution on Wednesday, requesting a 6.9 mill levy be put on the May ballot. That is the first step in the process. The board will also need to pass a second resolution and file with the Montgomery County Board of Elections before February 7th.
Voters in Centerville narrowly rejected a 5.9 mill levy in November of last year.
