DAYTON -- City offices will be closed Tuesday for the New Year holiday and trash and recycling services will be delayed by a day for the remainder of that week.
Customers with usual Tuesday waste/recycling collection will have Wednesday collection, and so on. There will be no âbulk pick-upâ services on Friday, Jan. 4.
Waste collection crews will pick up Christmas trees placed alongside waste containers during the weeks of December 31 and January 7.
Also, the waste collection schedule change does not affect Riverside and Jefferson Township customers. Waste collection services will be maintained as usual in those areas throughout the week.
