CENTERVILLE--A special delivery today from two Centerville sisters. Every year, 16 year old Caitlyn Tobin and her 12-year old sister Cassidy collect socks and donate them to children services.
This year, the siblings gathered one thousand pairs of socks.
Caitlyn and her mom came up with the idea after seeing the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
"We watched a video when I was in second grade, and it really spoke to me about these people affected by this huge hurricane and they had nothing. I asked my mom if there were children like that in Dayton, she said yeah. And I said what are we going to do about it? So, we came up with this," said Caitlyn Tobin.
This is the eighth year the girls have collected sock and they expect to continue this good work for years to come.
