UPDATE: The victim of the Thursday's shooting on North Main, has been identified as Virgil A. Daniel, 31. Homicide detectives said Daniel is listed in critical condition in the hospital.
DAYTON -- A 31-year-old man has been shot about noon today behind the Super Duper grocery store on North Main Street.
The man reportedly was shot more than once, police said, before making his way into the grocery seeking help.
He was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police they saw two black males running from the scene.
