WARREN COUNTY -- Tips from Crimestoppers led to the arrest of Mindy L. Messina, 37, of Amelia who is suspected of posing as an auditor and stealing money from a Waffle House restaurant.
Detectives said Messina confessed to taking the money from Waffle House. Messina also confessed to a similar offense at a convenience store in Elsmere, Kentucky.
Messina was charged with Theft and booked into the Warren County Jail. Charges were filed in the Mason Municipal Court. Charges are pending in the Kentucky incident.
