DAYTON -- A man was arrested for stealing a 70-inch flat-screen television after he was captured first on surveillance video and then spotted by police driving a reportedly stolen vehicle with the TV in the back.

After police reported the incident and the description of the suspect, dispatchers said another officer had seen the suspect in the Chevrolet Astro with a 70-inch TV in the back.

Eric Gibson, 36, of Dayton was charged with breaking and entering after police discovered a vent on the back door to Rooster's restaurant had been broken and used to gain entry.

Gibson was positively identified by police and taken to jail.
