DAYTON -- A Dayton man is in jail accused of choking his own daughter on her 11th birthday.
Kurt Clarke was arrested for child endangering Tuesday. Police say when the girl got on the bus, the driver noticed marks on her neck and alerted school officials.
The girl told police that her dad was fighting with his girlfriend and she asked them to stop. That's when, she says, he pushed and choked her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
Kurt Clarke is expected to make his first court appearance tomorrow.
