MORAINE--A local group gathered tonight to honor those victims in Connecticut.
A candlelight vigil was held at the Payne Recreation Center in Moraine.
Organizers say they wanted to show their support and give the community an opportunity to come together.
"My heart goes out to them. I know i would be lost without my family. These kids are everything and more to me they are what I live for," said vigil organizer Stacy Williams.
The name of each victim was read aloud tonight as a poem in their honor.
