XENIA--Police were called to Xenia High School today after two different students were found with pocket knives.
A small knife fell out of a student's pocket during class. In another case, while investigating a stolen Kindle, administrators found three pocket knives in a student's backpack.
None of the knives were used in a threatening manner, but the students were removed from school.
This happened one day after police arrested a Xenia High student for allegedly making threats on his Facebook page.
"We've had a lot of police officers here and our school is not taking it lightly; any of the threats going on so I feel like these kind of precautions need to happen so people don't feel like they can make these threats," said student Kelly Muterspaw
The student accused of the Facebook threat was arrested at his home last night after parents saw his claim to "commit an act of violence" at Xenia High School.
