MIAMISBURG -- Authorities in Miamisburg are working with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation to secure meth-making materials they say were found in the basement of a home on Maple Avenue.
Police were called to the home Tuesday night on a disturbance. That's when they got a tip about a strange smell coming from the basement. Officers found the materials and called the fire department and BCI to the scene. They spent the overnight hours taking materials out and securing the area.
Officers from Miamisburg police say there was a baby living in the ground floor of the building, but they don't think it was exposed to the meth materials. Right now one man is under arrest, but hasn't been charged. Officers say more arrests could be coming.
