DAYTON -- A beloved dog stolen out of his backyard, is now home.
We first told you about "Tiny" the missing white poodle in our evening newscasts, and an hour after the story aired, he was returned home.
"This little dog has been my lifeline, he is my little love," said Marie Cunningham, "With the broadcast and everything and good people that brought him home, I thank all of you i thank all of you for being so kind to help bring my little dog home to me."
"Tiny" was dog-napped Wednesday afternoon. The 9-year-old white poodle was outside in the fenced in backyard when someone broke the lock on the fence, and took him.
"I think he's a very bad person that's very cruel to do to anyone to take somebody's loved family member right out of their yard," said Cunningham.
Turns out, whoever took "Tiny" sold him to someone down the street for 40-dollars.
Luckily, a neighbor knew that Marie was missing her beloved furry friend.
"They seen it on the news," said Cunningham, "And she knew where he belonged and she brought him home."
And now that he's back by her side, Marie has a new found hope.
"(laughs) That a miracle had happened, that there is miracles," said Cunningham.
She offered to give the man who bought "Tiny" 40-dollars, but he declined.
