DAYTON -- Police say a 40-year-old student driver crashed this morning into the Dayton Board of Realtors building.
The crash on South Main Street happened after the driver, who is an immigrant from the Sudan, got confused behind the wheel. Police tell us she thought the gas pedal was the brake and only pushed harder as the car went out of control.
She was taken to the hospital but is expected to be fine. No one else was hurt. The building suffered only some broken windows and other relatively minor damage.
