WARREN COUNTY -- A babysitter has been accused of inflicting trauma on a 5-month-old.
According to police, 33-year-old Elizabeth Pennington was watching the infant at a home in Maineville.
Police say Pennington called them claiming the baby became unresponsive after choking. Detectives say, however, the injuries were not accidental.
Pennington was charged Tuesday with one count of child endangering.
The baby, although in stable condition, is still receiving treatment.
