Huber Heights -- Saturday storms caused headaches for drivers in Huber Heights. A handful of cars there got stuck in about 2 feet in the water.
At Powell and Brandt the street was filled with cars submerged in water, there were also reports of pea size hail. Many people who live in the area were shocked because they hadn't seen flooding like that in a while.
"Never, I've been here 25 years and I've never seen anything like this," said Toni Flint a Huber Heights resident.
Cars weren't the only things with heavy water damage.
Flint snapped this video of the flooding in her back yard.
"In my backyard it was mid up between my ankles and my knees," she said.
Huber Heights Police and Fire blocked off the area of Powell and Brandt for nearly an hour until the water receded.
"It was approximately two feet high in the center of the road and the water was pushing forward to our front door and my neighbor across the street, we looked over at her home and water was actually in her garage area," said Rhonda Horn of Huber Heights.
"One car was stuck in the middle of the road, he was stuck right in front of my house, four or five teenage kids came and pushed him down the street further, he said the water was up to his floorboard in his vehicle," said Flint.
Police reopened the intersection around 8:00 p.m. Saturday. The storms didn't cancel the annual Fireworks show at Cloud Park.
