The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the boy, identified as David Fields of Lebanon was riding the Mongoose bike in a private driveway but was unable to stop when he reached State Route 123. He was struck by a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck, being driven by Thomas Osborne, 64, of Waynesville.
