What's Next for Victims in School Massacre

DAYTON -- Twenty students, seven adults were killed by a lone gunman at a Newtown, Connecticut elementary school Friday morning.  The lives of those affected will be forever changed.

We sat down with an education law professor at the University of Dayton. He says the best thing moving forward, is to encourage hope, that this won't happen again. However, he says, counseling can only go so far.

"Armed guards are certainly a possibility , but i do not think that's a workable alternative for every school in America," said Charlie Russo, Education Law Professor at UD, "Hindsight is almost always 20/20 but i just don't think, realistically such a thing could have been prevented."

Experts say it's important to help children get back to their regular routine.
