WARREN COUNTY -- Two men are accused of stealing items from several storage units in the Dayton area.
Sheriff's deputies say Robert Benedict and Douglas Thompson were in possession of some of the stolen items at the time of their arrest. Deputies say a large amount of stolen property was recovered.
Major Eric Spicer with the Greene County Sheriff's Office has some advice for those with missing belongings, "we want them to call whatever jurisdiction it came up missing, wherever it was stolen from and make sure they make a police report ... we'll work it out and try to get it into the right hands."
Deputies are asking everyone to check their storage units. If your unit has been burglarized, contact your local police department or sheriff's office and make a report.
Warren County has filed charges against Benedict and Thompson and additional charges are under review in Greene County.
