DAYTON -- Stop the violence and increase the peace.  That was the message at the housing complex where a pregnant mother was killed Wednesday night.

Residents and community leaders, including Mayoral candidate AJ Wagner and The Adam Project, which helps at-risk youth, marched to stop the violence in Dayton's neighborhoods.

Friday they were at the DeSoto Bass complex, where Da'Lyne Foster was shot and killed after being caught in the crossfire between two fighting groups.

"It shouldn't take something like this to bring everybody together because everybody out here is neighbors," one resident said.

Organizers say gun violence in Dayton has increased by 65 percent  in the last two years.

They plan to march after every shooting where someone is injured to gain community support.
