CLARK COUNTY -- A Springfield man was arrested Thursday morning after a neighbor said he exposed himself to her and her four children.
According to Springfield Police, 53-year-old Jonathon Thornsbury walked outside his second-floor apartment and, while standing on the stairs, began yelling sexual comments, slapping his thighs and dancing on the steps.
The mother told police she tried to get her children in the house but it wasn't before Thornsbury dropped his pants and yelled to her, "Do you want this," while dancing around. The woman's 5-year-old son, and 7- and 8-year-old daughters where reportedly still in the front yard at the time. She said she had sent her 9-year-old daughter to the neighbor's house to call police.
When police arrived, Thornsbury reportedly told them he didn't do anything.
"I just peed in my own yard," a police report quotes Thornsbury as saying.
After his arrest and transport to police headquarters, Thornsbury reportedly said he liked to urinate outside, and that it was in his own yard.
He faces a public indecency charge and transported to jail.
