MIAIMISBURG -- A number of Miami Valley fathers spent their Father's Day playing with their kids.
Southbrook Christian Church in Miamisburg hosted a Father's Day field day Sunday.
The church does the field day every year for kids but decided to include dads for Father's Day.
It's part of their sermon series on Proverbs.
"We wanted dads to understand wisdom rubs off in spontaneous moments of play," Beth Matthews, the church's special events leader, said. "So we want dads to come out here and play with their kids."
There were nearly 20 activities for kids of all ages to play with their dads.
Dads also got a special barbeque rub the church is calling "Wisdom Rubs Off".
