HARRISON TWP.--A high speed chase, lands three teenagers in jail, accused of three violent car-jackings.
Wednesday afternoon, Montgomery County Deputies were in hot pursuit of 3 teens in a stolen Pontiac Grand Prix.
The driver behind the wheel tried to lose the deputies by turning into a parking lot, running red lights and weaving in and out of traffic.
The chase ends when the driver crashed into a utility pole on Grand Avenue.
Deputies said they arrested Jonaven Reddick, 18, who was the driver.
Two other teens, a 15 year old and a 16 year old took off on foot, but they were captured.
Deputies said the trio car jacked a man at gun point on Merrimac Avenue.
"I got out of my car, I just got home from work. They pulled a gun on me and held it to my head, and took my keys from me." Justin Babb said.
Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer said this is the third time the teens have stolen cars from people with weapons.
He said the trio held guns and knives to drivers heads twice earlier this week at the Marathon Gas Station on Riverside in Harrison Twp.
Sheriff Plummer said they needed to pursue them so their violent car-jacking spree would stop.
"We had to get these guys off the streets. They weren't going to stop until they got caught." He said. "We're happy they won't be putting anyone else's lives at risk."
Reddick is locked up in the Montgomery County Jail and the two other teens are being held in the Juvenile Justice Center.
All three are facing charges of aggravated robbery, fleeing and eluding, as well as other traffic violations.
