DAYTON -- Where are folks, especially older folks, in West Dayton going to be able to do their banking now that PNC just announced it's closing its branch in the Westown Shopping Center this August.
Residents say many senior citizens and veterans live in this area and can't travel long distances for their banking needs.
What's worse, community leaders and the Northwest Priority Board tell us other businesses have been leaving too.
According to Pastor Robert Jones from the College Hill Community Church, "what little resources we have, we need to develop it and through the banks, we're able to do that. We're just very concerned about what's happening to northwest and west Dayton."
The closest PNC branch is about six miles away.
So next Thursday, a community rally is planned at the bank to get answers from PNC officials.
