MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- Commissioners announced on Thursday their appointment of Joseph P. Tuss to the position of County Administrator.

Tuss has served as Interim County Administrator since June following the retirement of former Administrator Debbie Feldman.

“Since June, the Commissioners have been impressed by Joe’s leadership skills in his role as Interim County Administrator,” said Commission President Judy Dodge. “Joe has extensive experience in community and economic development, strategic planning, financial management and fostering public and private partnerships.”

Tuss has worked for Montgomery County since 2001 and was promoted to Deputy County Administrator – Director of Community and Economic Development in 2009. He previously worked in leadership roles with the City of Dayton.

“It is truly an honor to be appointed Montgomery County Administrator,” said Mr. Tuss. “I look forward to serving the citizens and continuing County’s long-standing tradition of excellence and outstanding public service.”
