BOSTON Mass. -- The Boston Fire Chief steps down after a no confidence vote from his department for his handling of the Boston Marathon Bombings.
Chief Steve Abraira has been under fire for not taking command at the bombing scene.
He says he followed national standards and felt his staff had the scene under control.
But his 13 deputy fire chiefs signed a no confidence letter last month, saying he failed to show any leadership during the crisis.
Abraira's last day is June 7th.
