GREENE CO. -- Neighbors feared it would happen and now they want big changes after a Yellow Springs teenager was killed in Greene County after a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening.
Trista Lindstrom, 17, was killed off Clifton and Grinnel Roads after the 16-year-old driver pulled out in front of a truck at a stop sign.
Shirley Hatfield lives at that corner where the crash happened.
She says there has been four crashes in the past month and a half.
"All the neighbors out here have been thinking what is it going to take before they find a solution to this intersection," said Shirley Hatfield,
Hatfield says she wants to see a traffic light, speed bumps, or clearly marked speed limit signs in the area.
She says the road has a lot of hills that leave a lot of blind spots for drivers.
"When I'm sitting there on that corner where all those accidents have come from, even though I stop and look, and look, I feel like a point comes when I just have to hit the accelerator and go and hope nothing comes over those hills"
Hatfield says she wants more to be done by city and county leaders.
She says there was a fatal crash here before so they put in flashing lights, but nothing seems to have changed.
"We really are a few feet from that road. 90 miles per hour is nothing," she said.
We will take the concerns of neighbors to city and community leaders Monday to see what they plan to do.
We tried to learn more about Lindstrom. We're told she was a student at the Greene County Career Center.

GREENE CO.--State Troopers tell us 17-year old Trista Lindstrom of Yellow Springs died shortly after the car she was riding in crashed at the intersection of Grinnell and Clifton Roads.
The accident happened around 7 pm Saturday night.
Police say she was a passenger in a car that pulled out in front of a truck at a stop sign.
"At this point, no distractions that we're aware of such as texting, etc. We believe it's possibly just one of those where she didn't see the truck. We don't know if the sun was in her eyes, blind spot or any of those type of things but we're still looking into what caused her to pull out in front of the truck," said Sgt. John Lumpcik of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The 16-year old driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and later released from the hospital.
