DAYTON--Animal lovers were spreading the word about adoption with some tasty treats.
They held a bake sale at the bark park behind the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center.
Organizers say the event started as a lemonade stand, but now it's in it's third year.
They sold several baked goodies to support all of the animals waiting to be adopted.
"I adopted my dog from the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center and it's awesome and I love him. It's just a great way to give back to the animal resource center," said organizer Tonya North.
Participants got t-shirts, raffle tickets, and other prizes.
Anyone wanting to adopt an animal can visit the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center Webster street.
