CLEVELAND -- A brawl breaks out at a kindergarten graduation ceremony. Police say the fight started over spilled punch, then two teenaged girls started hitting each other, and then their families joined in.
During the melee, one person pulled out a pipe, another a hammer. No one was seriously hurt, but eight people were arrested.
"I think it's a shame, I think it's just an absolute shame that something as good as a kindergarten ceremony is marred by the actions of a few, it's a darn shame.'' Commander Wayne Drummond, from the Cleveland Police Department said today, ''So that's why these individuals are going to jail, and they're going to jail for aggravated rioting.''
